Race date & time change: Sunday, March 30 at 2pm for 10K, 3:45 pm for 5K. Same location. For safety reasons due to thunderstorms & heavy rain, the Big Dog Trail Run is being rescheduled. Packet pick up is also changing. Packet pick up for today is changing to 3-6pm, Sunday 1pm until race start. Registration at Big Dog Running 1104 Broadway will remain available until Saturday at close.
Jeff Galloway will be at Big Dog Running Co. on May 8, at 6:30PM. Mark your calendars so you don’t miss out on this opportunity to ask Jeff your questions about running, nutrition and ways you can reach your running goals injury-free! Galloway training registration for the Soldier Marathon/Half opens on April 1. This year we are extending the Jeff Galloway Training Program membership into December so that we can run the inaugural Jeff Galloway 13.1 in Atlanta on December 14. All pace groups for this race are run/walk/run.
If you have ever been interested in training for a Marathon or Half Marathon, the Jeff Galloway program is a great place to start. This year’s schedule will once again include the Columbus Roadrunners’ Summer Series. Speedwork beginning on April 1, will be targeting this race series. Remember speedwork and 5K races are a great way to increase your pace for marathons and half marathons. If you want to get faster, participation is encouraged. More information about the Summer Series will be coming soon.

Come out for free food, drinks, and friends for the Columbus Road Runners March Social. This month’s social will be held at Big Dog Running Co. Uptown after the St. Patty’s Day race. Come out for the race, stay for the party! Race starts at 6:30PM and social will start directly after.

Soldier Marathon, Half Marathon & Relay Marathon start time 8 am at National Infantry Museum Avenue of Flags.
Wheelchair participants will start a few minutes before – same location.
Soldier 5K start time 8:10 am – 5K runners will move up to start line on Avenue of Flags after the Marathoners & Half Marathoners depart.
Packet pick up Friday, Nov 8 at National Infantry Museum in Patriot Hall 11 am to 7:30 pm & Saturday, Nov 9 at 6am to 7:45 am. Fallen Hero bibs can be chosen at packet pick up. Clear plastic bags will be available at packet pickup & only clear plastic bags can be used for bag check.
Expo is outside near entrance to the museum Friday 11am to 730pm & Saturday 6am to 12:30pm.
Parking at the National Infantry Museum (NIM) or in the parking lot across from NIM on the west side S. Lumpkin Rd or south of Oxbow Meadows on S. Lumpkin Rd.
Half Marathon awards at 11 am, Marathon awards at 12.
