Kids Run Columbus Is Back!
Mark your calendars for Kids Run Columbus. This free training program for kids starts March 8, 2015. It is designed to promote general fitness, create a lifetime of activity, promote a healthy lifestyle, basic nutrition and increase running in the community.
Who? PreK – 8th Grade
When? Kick Off on March 8, 2015 at 4pm
Where? Hardaway High School Track
We will meet each Sunday for training at the Hardaway Track from
March 8, 2015 through April 26, 2015.

Red Nose Is Coming!
Red Nose Sat Jan 3, 2015 8 am. Registration is still open.
9th Annual Red Nose Half Marathon
When: Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 8:00am
Where: 11th & Broadway
Course: The 13.1 mile CERTIFIED course starts & finishes at 11th & Broadway following the scenic Columbus Riverwalk
Registration Fees: There are no fees to register – it’s FREE! There is, however, an optional long sleeve technical shirt offered to runners at a cost of $25. To be guaranteed a shirt you must register with payment no later than December 12. Extras will be ordered and provided on a 1st come basis.
Awards: Top 3 overall, masters – male & female, age group 10 year male & female 1st – 3rd.

Winter Series Race #1 Packet Pick Up
Packet pick up Friday, Nov 14 at Big Dog NORTH 12 noon – 6 pm. Saturday, Nov 15 at Harris County Soccer Complex 7:30 am – 8:55 am. 5K Race starts at 9am. 1 mile starts at 8:30 am. 5K Awards at 10 am.
Directions to Harris County Soccer Complex: Hwy 27N to City of Hamilton, turn Right onto Hwy 116 go 1 mile, soccer complex on Right past Fire Dept.
Race benefiting Harris County Middle School Fit Club.

Kids Soldier Marathon Packet Pick Up and Info
Kids Marathon packet pick up on Friday, Nov 7 from 11 – 3pm inside National Infantry Museum, then moves outside from 3:20pm – 5:20pm. Kids will run their last mile at 5:30pm at National Infantry Museum.

Mark your calendars! Next month is guaranteed to have some spooktacular events! Come out to the CRR October Social after the Big Dog Howl. This year’s race and social are both on Halloween night! Kids Run Columbus 1 & 2 mile race

1 mile – 4:00PM – PreK – 5th grade
2 mile – 4:30PM – 5th – 8th grade
Where: Lakebottom Park near band shelter, Columbus, GA
Cost: 1 & 2 mile registration $10
Race day registration: 2:30 – 3:45pm at Lakebottom
Cotton shirt guaranteed to runners preregistered by April 25, 2014.
Awards: 1 & 2 mile participants get goody bag, top 3 in each age group get medal
1 mile: PreK – 1st, 2-3 grade, 4-5 grade, 2 mile: 5-8 grade (5th graders have option to run either race.)
