1st session is tomorrow, Thursday at 6 pm @ Hardaway High School back parking lot. Note this is a change, program will meet each Thursday @ Hardaway High School back parking lot. Please arrive by 550 pm to get checked in for the evening. 
Program will start @ 6 pm and last approximately 1 hour. Program will start with stations, water break (provided) and finish with a run each session. We will build up to 1 mile.  We do run in the rain but not lightning @ Hardaway. 
The goal race is the Lakebottom 1 mile or 5K. The race fee is not included but you will get a $5 discount on the race. You will receive a code for online that is good for only participants in the training program or you can sign up on paper at one of the sessions.

Our first race in the 2021 Summer Series is almost here.

The race time has been moves to 7AM!

The starting and finishing locations have remained the same, with some adjustments to the course as requested by Uptown Columbus to accommodate other events.

Races include:
Saturday, June 12, 2021 3 Bridge 5K 7 am (now starting at 7)
Saturday, July 3, 2021 Big Dog Heatwave 5 miler 8 am
Saturday, August 21, 2021 Lakebottom Park 5K 8 am
Monday, September 6, 2021 BD Labor Day Classic 10K 7:30 am

Price includes entry into all races and Series Shirt. Point based Series. Points based on Series participants overall place in the race. Medal for running all 4 races.

Registration Fee:
CRR Member: $95
Nonmember: $115
Price includes: Registration fee, Summer Series shirt, race specific swag, and post race food/drinks

Awards:
Summer Series awards will be given at the end of the Series at a Celebration Party TBD. Medal for running all 4 races for the Summer Series.
Categories include: Top 3 Overall, masters, winner in 10 year age groups – all male and female – based on points.

We can all agree that 2020 didn’t go as expected.
So we’re going to start 2021 off with a different sort of challenge.

Our Run Streak Challenge is for any Columbus Roadrunner Member.
There are 3 options:
1) RUN 365 days per year of a minimum of 1 mile per day 1/12/2021 – 1/12/2022 (if you have run every day since 1/1/21 those days count)
2) RUN each of our monthly half’s
3) RUN a 5K per month with a minimum of 6 CRR races during the year.
The challenge is a RUNNING challenge not walking.

Everyone that is a member of CRR and completes one or more of the challenges will receive a cool shirt and medal.
Each participant will need to track their progress and be prepared to show visual data.

With respect to our community leaders, our medical professionals, our community of runners, volunteers, and sponsors along with each of you, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the Red Nose Half Marathon due to the increased spike of Covid in our area. The safety of all involved must always come first. We understand this change may come as a disappointment and are sincerely sorry. For those who purchased a shirt, you will receive a $25 refund in the next couple of weeks.

Dash Day Memorial 5K – Oct 11 @ 4 pm.

All proceeds will go to Ronald McDonald House in memory of Della Stevenson grandson Dash.

Run will be held downtown start & finish at Big Dog. The run does not have a fee but we are asking for donations for Ronald McDonald House.

The run counts toward the 50 mile challenge. We will have a course (included), clock and snack at finish. You will sign your name on form, show us your finish time, and have fun supporting a great cause while having fun!
