Jacksonville Training Kick Off

This Saturday will be the kick off for the Jacksonville Run With Donna training program. Both Galloway and Next Steps training programs will start their programs on Saturday, November 16th.

GALLOWAYMeet at Big Dog on Broadway at 7:20 am. Running starts at 7:30. Training is either for new half marathon runners or a continuation training program for full marathon runners. If you have never completed a half marathon and would like to, you can register for the half training. Due to time constraints, there is not enough time to train for a full marathon if you have not recently completed a half, so anyone who trained in the May – November training for fall races and would like to move up to a full marathon or continue training for another full marathon may do so as your training will continue from where you left off after Soldier. Race start time Sat, Nov 9: 8am for Full, Half & Relay Marathoners. 8:10am for 5K

Kids Marathon 1 mile finishing mile tonight Friday, Nov 8 at 5:30pm.

Packet Pickup today opens at 11am – you will sign a waiver before picking up your packet.

Soldier Marathon Packet Pick Up & Race Info

Soldier Marathon, Half Marathon & Relay Marathon start time 8 am at National Infantry Museum Avenue of Flags.

Wheelchair participants will start a few minutes before – same location.

Soldier 5K start time 8:10 am – 5K runners will move up to start line on Avenue of Flags after the Marathoners & Half Marathoners depart.

Packet pick up Friday, Nov 8 at National Infantry Museum in Patriot Hall 11 am to 7:30 pm & Saturday, Nov 9 at 6am to 7:45 am. Fallen Hero bibs can be chosen at packet pick up. Clear plastic bags will be available at packet pickup & only clear plastic bags can be used for bag check.

Expo is outside near entrance to the museum Friday 11am to 730pm & Saturday 6am to 12:30pm.

Parking at the National Infantry Museum (NIM) or in the parking lot across from NIM on the west side S. Lumpkin Rd or south of Oxbow Meadows on S. Lumpkin Rd.

Half Marathon awards at 11 am, Marathon awards at 12.

Big Dog Howl Packet Pick Up

Packet pick up starts today, Friday, from 12 – 6 pm at Big Dog Running 1104 Broadway.

Packet pick up will be from 3p – 7:55 pm on Saturday at Big Dog Running on Broadway
also. Your friends can still register! Race starts at 8pm Saturday evening – costumes
encouraged – there will be a costume award. See you there!

October CRR Social

Come on down to the Big Dog Howl where we’ll be having our October social. Run the race and stay for the after party! Dress up, enjoy the festivities, and have fun!

2014 Destination Race Information Meeting

There will be a meeting on Monday, October 21 at 6:15pm at the Big Dog Running Co. store on Broadway. This meeting will go over information for the 2014 destination race, the Run For Donna out in Jacksonville, FL. The meeting will cover information on the different distances and race options, training programs, and more. Last year’s destination to San Diego was a big hit and we hope to have even more in 2014 as we Run with Donna!
