Winter Series Race #3 Packet Pick Up

Winter Series race #3 – CRR 5K – Sunday 1/12/14 at 4pm National Infantry Museum

Packet pick up Saturday, 1/11/14 at Big Dog Running Co uptown – 1104 Broadway – from 12 noon – 5pm. Packet pick up on Sunday, 1/12/14 at National Infantry Museum on the avenue of flags 2:30pm – 3:55pm.  Race starts at 4pm.
This race will have awards given by some of our 2014 Sponsors: Big Dog Running & Planet Pops for Overall & age groups. There will also be door prizes. In order to claim your award you must be present! Award time is 5pm. Stick around and cheer on all the runners then claim your award or door prize. Awards will not be saved or given to a friend/family member, again you must be present to claim your award/door prize.

Red Nose Packet Pick Up

Packet pick up is Friday 1/3/14 from 12 noon – 8pm at Big Dog Running Co 1104 Broadway. You will receive your race number & if you ordered a shirt, your shirt.

Packet pick up will resume on Saturday 1/4/14 in the median in front of Big Dog Running Co 1104 Broadway from 6:30 am – 7:45 am. Packet pick up closes at 7:45 am! Race starts at 8am!

There are over 1000 registered runners, please plan to arrive in time to park & pick up your packet before 7:45am if you are waiting until Saturday to pick up.

Parking is available at the following parking garages: on Front Street between 9th & 10th streets, on Front Street between 10th & 11th streets, and on 11th Street & 1st Ave. Parking is available on the sides streets – highly recommend not parking on Broadway. There is a large parking lot at TSYS on 14th Street & is a short walk to start/finish line.

Portapotties will be available on 11th Street as well as several of the local businesses, Big Dog Running & Iron Bank Coffee Co. Again remember race starts at 8am, don’t get stuck in line waiting on an inside bathroom.

Awards will be at 11am in the median in front of Big Dog Running Co.

There will be pacers available for the race for the following times: 1:40, 1:45, 1:50, 1:55, 2:00, 2:05, 2:10, 2:15, 2:20, 2:30, & 3:00 They will be wearing bright colored shirts & carrying the times. Look for them at the start line & find the time you are interested in running.

One of our sponsors, Planet Pops will be giving recovery frozen popsicles to all the runners – look for their cart near the finish line. Other snacks & water for the runners will be located in the median where packet pick up is located in front of Big Dog Running Co.

Results will be posted on the windows of Big Dog Running Co as they are available.

Volunteers will be wearing bright green shirts, make sure you listen to their directions!

Bikers will be on the course to lead & help if needed. Medical tent will be located between the start/finish.

Come run this fast, flat course along the beautiful Columbus Riverwalk. The Red Nose Half Marathon is a FREE race held each January. It is a USATF Certified Course (#GA08023WC) and is part of the Run and See Georgia Grand Prix. Long sleeve technical t-shirts are available for purchase for this event for $25.

Get Your Jingle On!

Big Dog Jingle 2013

Packet pick up for race #2 of the Winter Series, Big Dog Jingle 5K, starts Friday Dec. 20th  at 12 noon until 6pm at downtown Big Dog Running 1104 Broadway. Packet pick up will also be Saturday, Dec. 21st from 7:30 am until 8:55 am at Big Dog Running also. If you have not registered for the race, you can still sign up! Registration will also be available until 8:55 am Saturday.

Race starts Saturday, Dec. 21st at 9 am.

This is a big race with over 400 pre-registered runners, so plan to arrive early to find parking.

Winter Series/Blake Reynolds Packet Pickup

Packet pick up for the  Winter Series/Blake Reynolds 5K/10K Friday, 11/29/13 at Hardaway Wrestling gym from 4p  – 8p.
Registration also available.
Packet pick up Saturday, 11/30/13 at Hardaway Wrestling Gym 7:30 am – 8:30 am
Registration also available.
Race starts at 9:00 AM.
Individual early race registration is $20 for the 5K or $25 for the 10K. Late registration increases $5.
If registering for the race as part of the Winter Series, registration is $65 for CRR members, $85 nonmembers
